Of course anyone who has a genuine interest and works hard can become a scientist. There are loads of different types of scientists and science subjects from social science to molecular biology to physics, chemistry, haematology (like I do) etc…

Yes, absolutely! All you need to become a scientist is an interest in a topic and a willingness to work at investigating it! There are so many different fields of science that there’s nearly always something to appeal to you, so hopefully you’ll find one that feels right!

Anyone, of any age, of any background, can be a scientist.

It’s probably one of the things I love most about working in science – you get to work with people from all over the Earth, all very different ages, and you’re all working on something that you love and are interested in.

Maybe one of us will be working with you in a few years if you become a scientist (you should becomes an astrophysicist, we always needs more people to look at the stars 😉 )
