      Well, in essence yes, because if you take enough of anything it will eventually kill you (you can even die from drinking too much water in too short a space of time), however, there is definitely a difference in the danger presented by different drugs, and this has to do with how active it is in the body.

      If a drug is very active in the body, you only need a very small dose to feel the effects of the drug, and this means you may only need a small bit more after that for it to be a lethal dose, i.e. there is a a very small difference in the amount you need for the effect and the amount it takes to kill you, and these are the most dangerous drugs because it’s when the amounts are so small it’s very easy to make a mistake and take too much by accident.
