Question: does your work help understand how the human bran works?

It helps understand how the brain behaves when it deforms. Say you hit your head on a hard surface: how much will the brain matter inside the skull deform from the shock, or from the swelling? If I can predict that using a computer, I can give surgeons precious information, as they will know if there’s a chance of damage (when the brain is stretched or compressed too much) and whether they should operate or let it heal by itself.
