  No! And for a very non scientific reason…when I was travelling in Australia I was in KFC in Sydney and there were flies all over the food preparation area and as a result I have never eaten it since! Unfortunately I have tarred all KFC’S with the same brush!
  Although as with most things in life science is related. House flies spread bacteria such as salmonella (causes severe vomiting and diarrhoea), anthrax (v rare), TB and also the eggs of parasitic worms…
